In may of 2011 I joined the junior and senior class of Laconia Christian School on a missions trip to Honduras. 27 of us went on the trip to Tegucigalpa. The purpose of the trip was to help everyone we could. We started our trip going to an orphanage in a small village. We got to know the parents of the orphanage and also the 18 kids they took care of. The parents ran a small church next to the orphanage where we joined the people of the village for a worship.
We helped many people down there whether it was at a church, a hospital, on a court where they played soccer, or in a prison. My main purpose was to document the trip as best I could. I was allowed to video everywhere we visited except for the prison. I came back with a lot of footage and put together a video in a week so the seniors would be able to revisit their trip before they left their high school for the last time.
You can find a trailer for that video below and on the link to First Light Pro's videos. I am currently working on another video that comes together more into a story. The first one was quickly put together and the second will make more sense to someone who did not accompany us on the trip. Look forward to that within a few weeks.
