Mainstay Update
The filming for Mainstay Technologies is finished! It was a lot of fun working with Ryan Robinson of Mainstay filming the testimonials and b-roll we needed for the video. All that is left now is the editing.

Mainstay Update
We have currently finished the production phase for Mainstay Technologies! As of right now I am filtering through footage to put into a generic promo video. The promo should be together within these next few weeks.

Go Pro!
This week I got a second camera. I picked up a Go Pro Hero 2. I made a quick video to play around with it a little and posted it to the First Light Pro Youtube page. It's a nice little camera and you can get some really awesome shots with it. Check out the few I did.

Nick Lincoln Videos
I have added my own personal videos to the bottom of the page. These are mostly videos I've done for classes at NESCom. My most recent video was my own rendition of EpicMealTime. Although my most popular video was one I made in intro to video that now has 31,000 views. It is not my best work and I can definitely do better now but I'm happy with how many views its received.
Mainstay Technologies
I recently spoke with Mainstay Technologies about making a promotional video. It was because of Mainstay Technologies that I was able to start First Light Productions, and it is great to be repaying them the favor by making a video for them. We will be meeting shortly to storyboard and get things rolling.

Lakes Region Childcare Services
The Lakes Region Childcare video is now online! It was shown to their staff and funders and I hear there was great feedback. Check out the video at the Youtube link on the bottom of the page.

Through the Eyes
This last spring I met Mark Warren, founder of Global Benefit. Global Benefit is a non-profit organization that travels around the world making a difference. Mark traveled with our group to Honduras and helped the group put a well at a church right outside the city of Tegucigalpa. He took a trip to Rwanda before coming to Honduras and worked with a woman who started a non-profit there. Her organization is called Through the Eyes of Hope. She teaches photography to people in Rwanda. Mark made a documentary while he was down there with a small film crew. I told him what I am doing in school and about First Light and he gave me some of the video to edit for Through the Eyes of Hope, which will be my next project to work on shortly.

Summer 2011
This last summer I started First Light Productions. I started with the Honduras trip and when I came back I started with Beyond the Belt making a promotional video. To finish out the rest of the summer I also worked with Lakes Region Childcare Services and Taylor Community, both out of Laconia, NH. For LRCCS I made a video through July and August which should be on their website shortly. The Taylor Community video is still on-going, but should be done shortly. A first cut of the video is done and a final video will shortly come. Right now I have the Beyond the Belt video online and linked to this page, look forward to the other two.

Honduras
In may of 2011 I joined the junior and senior class of Laconia Christian School on a missions trip to Honduras. 27 of us went on the trip to Tegucigalpa. The purpose of the trip was to help everyone we could. We started our trip going to an orphanage in a small village. We got to know the parents of the orphanage and also the 18 kids they took care of. The parents ran a small church next to the orphanage where we joined the people of the village for a worship.
We helped many people down there whether it was at a church, a hospital, on a court where they played soccer, or in a prison. My main purpose was to document the trip as best I could. I was allowed to video everywhere we visited except for the prison. I came back with a lot of footage and put together a video in a week so the seniors would be able to revisit their trip before they left their high school for the last time.
You can find a trailer for that video below and on the link to First Light Pro's videos. I am currently working on another video that comes together more into a story. The first one was quickly put together and the second will make more sense to someone who did not accompany us on the trip. Look forward to that within a few weeks.
